Chapter 11
A Path Diverged
Separated and hunted, the friends must rely on their individual strengths. Jessie grapples with his dual identity, while Kai strategizes their next move, their bond tested like never before.

Kai was a blur of motion, a whirlwind of calculated chaos, drawing their attention while Ben and Amy scrambled to pull Fred along, their faces a mask of grim determination. This wasn’t just another chase; this was a flight for their lives.

Jessie followed her lead, ducking into a narrow passage that smelled of damp brick and forgotten things. He could feel the others close behind, their ragged breaths a testament to their shared terror.
“Where are we going?” Fred panted, his usual mischievous glint replaced by a raw fear that made Jessie’s gut clench.
