Luna finally reaches the sanctuary, only to be confronted by Shadowclaw. The fate of the empire hangs in the balance as they face off amidst encroaching darkness.
The air in the sanctuary grew heavy, thick with an unseen pressure that made Luna’s fur prickle. The soft, mossy floor, usually so welcoming, now felt like a trap. Towering, ancient trees, their branches laced with ethereal moonlight, formed a natural cathedral, a place of profound peace that was now being invaded. As Luna, Jasper, and Elder Whisperwind stepped fully into the clearing, a chill that had nothing to do with the evening air slithered down their spines.
And there he was.
