The night sky, a canvas of deepest indigo, unfurled above the sleeping village. Not a sound disturbed the stillness, save for the whisper of wind through the ancient pines and the gentle murmur of the river, a lullaby sung by the earth itself. Within the heart of a small dwelling, where firelight flickered and danced, a mother watched her child slumber.

Stars, like scattered diamonds, pricked the velvet darkness. Each one, a distant sun, a burning ember of cosmic fire. And in the soft, even breaths of the sleeping child, the mother saw them reflected. Not just in the wide, unblinking gaze that would one day meet the world, but in the very essence of their being.

For this child, this miracle cradled in her arms, was a star. A tiny, nascent star, brimming with the light of a thousand dawns yet to break. Innocent, yes, but not empty. Filled with a potential as boundless as the universe itself, a promise whispered on the stardust that settled on their eyelids.
