The air in the Whispering Woods grew heavy, not with the dampness of dew, but with a palpable sense of stillness. Bartholomew, his fur shimmering with the faint luminescence of the starlight he’d gathered, padded softly over a carpet of moss that seemed to absorb every sound. He’d followed the faint, melodic echo of the Song of Serenity for days, a whisper that grew clearer with each step, leading him deeper into the ancient heart of the woods. In the center of the clearing stood a single, ancient willow tree, its branches weeping long, silvery tendrils that brushed against the dew-kissed grass.
