Chapter 11
A Fragile Peace
Though the immediate threat is gone, the experience has irrevocably altered Father Michael. He finds a quiet, fragile peace, forever marked by his reckoning with darkness and the strength of his enduring faith.

Father Michael’s shoulders slumped, the exhaustion that had been a constant companion for so long finally claiming its due. His cassock, once a symbol of his calling, was torn and stained, a testament to the brutal spiritual warfare he had waged. His hands trembled, not from fear, but from the sheer depletion of his spirit. He had faced the deepest wells of darkness, the very heart of the encroaching void, and had somehow, impossibly, emerged.
