Chapter 5
The Treacherous Trail
Elmsworth and Lumina join forces. They lead the children on a perilous journey, navigating enchanted rivers and solving riddles, testing their bravery at every turn.
The air in the Whispering Woods had grown heavy, thick with the scent of damp earth and ancient secrets. Elmsworth, his beard a cascade of silver moonlight, gestured with a gnarled staff towards a path barely visible beneath a carpet of moss. Lumina’s voice was like the tinkling of tiny bells. “But fear not. With Elmsworth’s wisdom and my light, you shall find your way. Remember, even the darkest night gives way to dawn, and even the most tangled forest has a clearing.”
