Chapter 11
The Lure of the Labyrinth
The prime number passages seem endless, testing Pip's patience. Professor Sum reminds Pip that understanding the pattern is key to solving any numerical puzzle.
The air in the prime number passages grew heavy, thick with an almost palpable stillness that pressed in on Pip. Each turn, each identical corridor carved from the very essence of numbers, seemed to stretch into an eternity. He adjusted his spectacles, his large, wise eyes scanning the glowing walls with an intensity Pip could only envy. “Ah, Pip, my young friend,” he said, his voice a gentle rumble. “The beauty of the prime number passages lies not in their variety, but in their inherent, unyielding order. They are a testament to the fundamental truths of numbers – those that stand alone, divisible only by themselves and one.”
