V returns to their quiet village, the locket now a conduit for joy. They share its gift, and soon, giggles ripple through the streets, transforming the once-somber atmosphere into one of delight.

The crisp autumn air nipped at V’s cheeks, a familiar sensation that usually brought a pang of loneliness. But today, today was different. Today, the air felt alive, buzzing with an unseen energy, mirroring the thrumming warmth nestled against V’s chest. The V3 Locket, now a constant companion, felt lighter, as if it too were eager to share its newfound secret. V’s footsteps, usually hesitant and quiet on the cobblestone path leading back to the village, now had a spring in them, a rhythm that spoke of a heart brimming with a joy it hadn’t known it possessed.

The village of Oakhaven was, by all accounts, a quiet place. Not a sad place, necessarily, but a place where the loudest sounds were the rustle of leaves and the distant bleating of sheep. Smiles were polite, nods were brief, and laughter was a rare, precious commodity, like finding a four-leaf clover in a field of daisies. V had always felt a little out of tune with Oakhaven’s muted melody, their own imagination often painting vibrant colours onto a canvas that seemed to prefer shades of grey. But now, with the locket, V felt like they held the brush and an entire spectrum of dazzling hues.

As V approached the village square, the locket pulsed with a gentle warmth, a soft whisper tickling V’s ear. *“Giggle gas… ready to spread!”* V couldn’t help but grin. It was a silly, wonderful thought. V stopped near the old fountain, where Mrs. Higgins was meticulously polishing the already gleaming brass. She looked up, her usual stern expression softening slightly at the sight of V.
