The air in the nascent world, once a tapestry of vibrant hues, began to fray at the edges. A subtle shift, like the faintest tremor beneath the earth, signaled the nascent stirrings of something ancient and malevolent. Lillithania, her essence a cascade of molten sunlight and nascent starlight, felt it first. A prickle of unease, a dissonance in the symphony of creation that had always resonated within her. She stood on a precipice overlooking a valley where rivers of liquid light still flowed, their banks thick with the emerald blush of newly sprouted flora. Yet, a shadow, formless and insubstantial, seemed to cling to the lower reaches, muting the luminescence, whispering a chill that had no business existing in this realm of pure being.

Miles away, or perhaps a mere breath in the cosmic scale, Belzaele felt it too. His being, a deep, resonant hum of primal earth and the forge-fire of the cosmos, recognized the intrusion. It was a discordant note, a jarring clang against the harmonious forging of existence. He stood amidst towering, obsidian peaks, their surfaces still cooling from their fiery birth. The very stone beneath his feet seemed to recoil from an unseen touch, a creeping blight that leached the vibrant obsidian to a dull, lifeless grey. A gnawing emptiness, a void that mirrored the one he felt in his very core, began to unfurl.
