Victory in Vibration

The air still thrummed with the aftermath of our… whatever *that* was. The Grolak, a creature whose name sounded like something you’d cough up after a particularly nasty bout of dragon flu, lay sprawled on the torn earth like a deflated troll. Its supposed invincibility had apparently been no match for our special brand of sparkly, vibrating chaos.

“See?” Lyra nudged me, her grin wide enough to split her face. “I told you it would work!”

I eyed the shimmering afterglow clinging to my fingertips. “Work is a relative term, little sister. We didn’t exactly punch it into submission. We… tickled it with existential dread until it decided to take a nap. A very permanent nap.”
