The air in Anya's small living room seemed to hum, not with the usual quiet reverence of her former life, but with a gentle, burgeoning curiosity. It was a Saturday afternoon, the kind that used to be filled with the predictable rhythm of prayer and contemplation, but now held the delightful, slightly disorienting scent of possibility. "That's what I've been feeling too, Maria. It’s as if we've been so focused on the individual stones of the path that we’ve forgotten the path itself. Professor Finch said something that really stayed with me: 'Truth, like light, refracts through different prisms, each revealing a unique spectrum, yet all emanating from the same source.'"
