Chapter 11
Whispers of the Ancients
As the battle rages, ancient dragon spirits speak to Elara, revealing the true nature of dragon blood magic and her ancestral connection to their kind.
The air thrummed with a raw, untamed energy, a tempest of magic and fury that tore through the ravaged village. Flames licked at the splintered timbers of homes, and the acrid scent of smoke choked the sky. Elara stood at the heart of the chaos, her hands outstretched, the strange, glowing marks on her skin pulsing with an almost unbearable heat.
