Chapter 11
Seraphina's Claim
Seraphina confronts Elara, revealing her own twisted claim to the legacy, fueled by resentment and a warped sense of entitlement. She seeks to control the power, not preserve it.

Her smile, when it finally bloomed, was a fragile, dangerous thing, like ice cracking on a deep, dark lake.
“Elara,” Seraphina’s voice was a low melody, laced with an edge of something sharp and unpleasant. “I see you’ve finally found your way to your inheritance.” She stepped further into the room, her gaze sweeping over the scattered books and scrolls, lingering on the crimson fabric draped over Elara’s shoulders. “Lysander has always been so… selective with his truths, hasn’t he?”
