The sheets felt cool and soft against her skin, a sensation so simple, yet so profoundly luxurious.

She sat up, the world around her bathed in the soft, golden hue of morning. Her room, usually a battlefield of discarded clothes and scattered books, seemed to hum with a quiet serenity. Sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air like tiny, golden fairies.
