And at its center, a single, impossibly vibrant bloom pulsed with an ethereal glow. My bloom.

“It’s slipping,” a voice rasped from the shadows. Kael, Vane’s enforcer, a man whose face seemed perpetually etched with a grimace, stepped into the dim light. “The nodes are… recalibrating. Faster than we can predict.”

Vane’s jaw tightened. His fingers, long and skeletal, twitched. “Slipping? It shouldn’t be slipping. We had it. We had the source code, the biological key.” He gestured to the projection, his voice a low growl. “This is the heart of it, the Algorithmic Bloom. Elara’s work. And it was within our grasp.”
