Following a busy ant trail, the group hopes for a safe passage. But the ants are oblivious to their plight, their determined march a potential hazard.

The world, once a familiar tapestry of manicured lawns and towering oak trees, had become a dizzying, terrifying expanse. Max, his heart thudding a frantic rhythm against his ribs, adjusted the strange cloth gauntlet on his arm. The SCA.B 2K, as it helpfully displayed in glowing green script, was their only tangible link to reality, a miniature computer offering a bewildering array of data: vital signs, environmental readings, and, most crucially, a map of this colossal, alien landscape. Brookhollow Park, his childhood playground, was now a treacherous jungle.

Beside him, Hoops bounced on the balls of her feet, her usual effervescence a stark contrast to the grim reality of their situation. "Okay, okay, so we're small. Like, *really* small. But look!" She pointed a trembling finger towards a dark, glistening ribbon winding through the emerald blades of grass. "Ants! Loads of them! They must be going somewhere important, right? Maybe to, like, an ant city with tiny little ant hotels and stuff!"

Willow knelt, her expression a mixture of awe and apprehension. "They're so organized, aren't they? It's like a miniature highway." She reached out a hesitant hand towards the nearest ant, a creature the size of her thumb, its segmented body a marvel of engineering. "They don't even notice us."
