The light that had guided her through the winding tunnels had intensified, coalescing into a soft, pearlescent glow emanating from the very center of the cavern. Here, nestled on a pedestal of smooth, dark stone, lay not a chest overflowing with glittering coins, nor a hoard of sparkling jewels, but something far more wondrous.

It was an orb, no larger than her two cupped hands, fashioned from a substance that seemed to capture and hold starlight. Its surface shimmered with an inner luminescence, shifting through hues of pale blue, soft violet, and a warm, golden amber. It pulsed gently, like a sleeping heart, and with each beat, the air around it seemed to grow warmer, more vibrant. This was the treasure. Not gold, not jewels, but a thing of pure, quiet power.

Elara approached it with hesitant steps, her worn boots making soft scuffs on the mossy floor. The mischievous creature, who had been pacing nervously at the edge of the light, now stood still, its large, curious eyes fixed on the orb.
