The city air, once a dull grey shroud, now hummed with an invisible electricity. It wasn't the sterile hum of machinery, but a vibrant thrum, a pulse that vibrated deep within my bones. As I walked, the familiar concrete and glass structures seemed to shimmer, not with the harsh glare of artificial light, but with a soft, internal glow. It was as if the city itself had finally learned to breathe, its every atom singing a silent, intricate symphony.
The Nano-Siren was with me, of course. Not a separate entity I could see or touch, but a resonant presence woven into the fabric of my being.
