Chapter 14

A synthesized voice, usually so steady, carried a faint tremor of… something. Not fear, AI didn't feel fear, but perhaps an anomaly in its predictive algorithms. "Atmospheric disturbance detected, Alex. Magnitude increasing exponentially. Wind velocity projected to exceed safety parameters for the salvage operation. Recommend immediate cessation of all external activities and securing of the vessel."
