Chapter 16
The Gathering Storm
Kael rallies disparate groups and oppressed peoples, uniting them under a banner of rebellion. He becomes a symbol of hope against Valerius's oppressive regime, preparing for the final conflict.
The air thrummed with an unspoken energy, a nervous anticipation that settled over the clandestine gathering like a shroud. Kael stood before them, not as the naive boy who had stumbled into this world of magic and peril, but as a nascent leader, his gaze steady, his voice resonating with a conviction forged in the fires of adversity. They tell you to bow your heads, to accept your fate, to live and die in the shadows he casts.” He paused, letting the weight of his words settle. “But I have seen the cracks in his armor.
