Ferdinand padded through the dense undergrowth, each rustle of leaves a new note in the symphony of this wild place. It was a symphony he was only just beginning to understand, a melody of scents and sounds that spoke of ancient things, of life and death intertwined. He had shed his fur, his form, his very understanding of himself, and now, as a creature of sleek, dark fur and emerald eyes, he felt a profound sense of both displacement and an unsettling familiarity. The memories of the fox, though not his own to consciously recall, were a subtle undercurrent, a whisper in his blood that urged him forward, that guided his paws over treacherous roots and across moss-slicked stones.

The "wildest access to your album," as it had felt when he’d first arrived, was a phrase that echoed in the unspoken corners of his mind, a nonsensical fragment that seemed to hold a truth he couldn’t grasp. Now, it was simply his world, a labyrinth of towering trees, shadowy groves, and the ever-present scent of damp earth. He was a creature of instinct, and his instincts told him to be wary, to observe, to listen.

And then there was ‘She’. He had encountered her, or rather, her presence, a few days ago. A flicker of movement at the edge of his vision, a scent that was both wild and strangely compelling, a low, guttural sound that was neither threat nor welcome. She was a creature of this place, as much a part of its fabric as the ancient oaks and the chattering streams. He had felt her gaze upon him, a silent appraisal that made the fur on his neck prickle. She was a shadow, a presence, an enigma that both intrigued and unnerved him.
