As they near their goal, the aurora intensifies, guiding them to a sacred, hidden valley. The air crackles with anticipation, the Lumina Steed's presence palpable.
The air grew thin and sharp, biting at Elara’s exposed cheeks with an icy kiss. Above them, the aurora borealis was no longer a gentle dance of color but a tempest of light, a furious, beautiful storm that painted the night sky in strokes of emerald, sapphire, and amethyst. It pulsed and throbbed, a living entity that seemed to hum with a power that vibrated deep within their bones. Kael, huddled in his thick furs, pointed a mittened finger upwards. "It's stronger now," he breathed, his voice a hushed reverence. "Much stronger. We must be close."
Finn, ever the one to break the tension, shivered dramatically, though Elara suspected he was more excited than cold. "Close to what? A giant ice sculpture of a unicorn? Or maybe just a very, very cold wind that sings opera?" He nudged Kael with his elbow. "Any prophecies about opera-singing winds, wise one?"
Kael offered a rare, small smile. "The ancient texts speak of the aurora's heart, the place where its purest light gathers. It is said to be a sanctuary, hidden from all but those who are guided by its deepest currents."
