The vampire approaches her offering her power offering her a place by his side and he speaks glorious name of darkness that is greater than he get this greater darkness would welcome her give her great honor should she join them she refuses and he uses charms to entangle her mind momentarily trying to rule her with lust and the kiss nulls her mind the charm seems to be working but inside thing is wrong is off and she feels him necron distance but not always present within her soul and recognition flares as she drives the dagger through the vampire's heart whispering I am not yours and you are no longer
The air thrummed with a primal energy, a palpable tension that settled over Melisandra like a shroud. The vampire, a creature of ancient, predatory grace, circled her, his eyes burning with an unnatural hunger. He spoke of power, of a darkness far grander than any she had yet encountered, a darkness that would embrace her, elevate her, grant her dominion beyond mortal comprehension. He spoke of glorious names, whispered secrets of the night, promising her a place at their side, a place of honor.
Melisandra felt a flicker of something akin to temptation, a seductive whisper in the back of her mind, but the dragoness within her recoiled. This was not her path. "I refuse," she stated, her voice firm despite the tremor in her hands.
The vampire's smile widened, a chilling baring of teeth. He moved closer, his scent a heady mix of decay and something cloyingly sweet. He reached out, his fingers brushing her cheek, and a wave of dizzying sensation washed over her. Her mind clouded, a fog of desire and confusion descending. Lust, raw and potent, threatened to overwhelm her. She felt herself weakening, her will dissolving like mist in the sun. He leaned in, his lips meeting hers in a kiss that promised oblivion.
