Melisandra was furious but relieved . Anaya says "yes m lord" as you say " Melisandra turns on him" you know her" I do I do indeed. Your wearing her finger. Gesturing to the whistle around her neck. Anaya involuntarily rubs her left hand tucking it under her right mumbling " bone of my bone" Madness Melisandra says this is madness. Welcome to the family Anaya says, this madness one and all Then laughs only the way a dragon could cheerfully evil sounding
Melisandra’s fury warred with a profound relief that settled deep in her bones. Anaya, the creature who had just materialized from the shadows, offered a breathy, “Yes, my lord.”
Melisandra spun, her gaze locking onto the newcomer. “You know her?”
Anaya’s attention flickered, a subtle movement of her head. “I do. I do, indeed. You’re wearing her finger.” Anaya gestured, not with a sharp point, but with a languid sweep of her hand, towards the whistle hanging from Melisandra’s neck.
