She approached softly, her own senses tingling with an unfamiliar energy emanating from the locket. “It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” Anu’s voice was a gentle question, laced with an intuition that went beyond mere observation. “I’ve never seen anything like it. It feels… old. And significant.”

Natasha’s fingers traced the phoenix, a tremor running through her. “It feels like it belongs to me, somehow,” she confessed, her voice barely a whisper. “But I don’t recognize her. And this symbol… it’s so unique.” She looked up at Anu, a flicker of desperation in her eyes. “Have you ever seen this bird before? Or anything like it?”
