…The settlement was safe. The mercenaries were routed. The Warden, his mission complete, felt the familiar weight of solitude settle upon him. He had fulfilled his contract, upheld his honor, and protected a secret his father had died to keep. As he phased out of the mercenary stronghold, leaving behind a silent testament to his intervention, he felt the wraith suit settle around him, its potential still largely unknown, a promise of further discoveries, further responsibilities. The galaxy was vast, and the shadows his father had guarded against were long. His journey, as a lone guardian, was far from over.
