…He touched the scorched earth, the shattered remnants of the energy orb. Then, he extended his hands towards the settlement’s damaged structures, and a gentle, golden light emanated from his palms. He began to heal, mending the metal and stone, restoring what had been broken. The work was methodical, a familiar balm to his soul. He would rebuild, piece by piece, just as he was slowly rebuilding his understanding of the wraith suit and ghost weave trench coat.
