…He left the mercenary stronghold as he had entered it: a ghost. He left no trace, no sign of his passage, save for the deactivated alarms and the defeated mercenaries. The settlement would awaken to peace, unaware of the silent guardian who had stood between them and oblivion. As he walked away, the twin neon chrome laser guns felt solid and familiar in his hands. The wraith suit hummed, a promise of further discoveries, of abilities yet to be unlocked. His father’s legacy, and the secrets of the universe, were still vast and uncharted. And the Warden, alone but resolute, was ready to face them.
