…"Maybe," Lily said with a smile. "And maybe, next time, we can just play." As Lily walked back towards the wishing well, the glowing stones nestled safely in her bag, she felt a profound sense of peace. The Whispering Woods faded behind her, replaced by the familiar scent of her own backyard. She stepped out of the well, the magic of the forest still clinging to her like a sweet perfume. The adventure had been everything she had wished for, and so much more. She looked at the stones, their gentle glow a constant reminder of the wonders that lay beyond the ordinary, and the magic that resided not just in wishing wells, but within her own brave heart.
