Anya clutched the wooden bird tighter, the smooth wood a tangible link to Elara, a reminder of what she had fought and died for. She had found Elara’s secret. Now, she had to ensure Valerius didn’t get his hands on it, and she had to find her own way home. The archive’s secret was out, and the game had just become infinitely more dangerous. Anya braced herself, her eyes fixed on the entrance, a silent promise forming in her mind: she would finish what Elara started.
