Where Our Hearts Collided

…As we walked hand-in-hand back towards our apartment, the streetlights casting a warm glow on our path, I knew, with an unshakeable certainty, that our hearts had collided not by chance, but by destiny. And in that collision, we had found a sanctuary, a haven, a place where our love could finally, truly, and forever, reside. We had built our nest, and it was, at last, a home.
