…The weight on his shoulders felt a fraction lighter, replaced by a quiet determination. He knew the road ahead would be challenging, that Sadia’s ingrained patterns wouldn't change overnight, if at all. But he also knew, with a certainty that settled deep in his soul, that he could no longer sacrifice his own well-being on the altar of a love that demanded too much.
