He had to fly towards that distant light, towards the truth, even if it meant flying into the heart of the storm. The longest goodbye wasn’t the one he’d shared with Gypsy; it was the one he was saying to the lie, a lie that had held him captive for too long. And as the stars blurred into streaks of light, Seth Adams, the disgruntled colonist, the accidental revolutionary, flew on, a tiny spark of defiance against the infinite dark, chasing a truth that might just set him free, or condemn him forever.
