…As they walked hand in hand out of the desolate chamber, leaving the spectral echoes to finally find their rest, Vladislaus knew that the scars of the past would forever remain. But for the first time in six hundred years, he felt a flicker of hope, a quiet certainty that their enduring love, the beacon that had guided them through the darkness, would continue to illuminate their path, even in the face of an eternity yet to come.
