…As we climbed inside, I looked back at the slums of Hastinapur one last time. The neon lights flickered in the grey morning, casting long shadows across the streets where I had grown up. It had been my home for twenty-five years. But it was not my destiny. I closed the door, and the transport lifted off, carrying us toward a future I could not yet see.
