…Valerius, his hands stained with the blood of his own kin, surveyed his handiwork with a grim satisfaction. He had sown discord, and he was now reaping the bitter harvest. The kingdom of Eldoria, already broken, was now bleeding from a wound inflicted from within, a wound that promised to fester and spread, leaving behind only a deeper, more agonizing despair. The tin soldier, a silent witness to this final, brutal act of self-destruction, felt a chill that had nothing to do with the morning air. He saw the greed, the violence, the utter despair, and a profound sadness settled upon his metallic heart. The battle was over, but the war, it seemed, had only just begun.
