…I return to the sketchbook. On the last page, I write: Grozis matematukos varske ir jos kvapas juntu krutys pilnox. The words blur. I underline them once, twice. Then I turn the page and begin a new drawing: a spiral that tightens into a point, then opens again. Like a question mark. Like a breath. Outside, the first light of March 21st begins to seep through the clouds. I do not know if I am ready, but the day is coming anyway. I close the book and wait.
