…"I understand," Aethelred whispered, his voice thick with emotion. "I… I will honor them, Homer. I will carry their names. And I will save this world." Homer’s stoic mask finally cracked, a genuine smile gracing his lips. "Good," he said, his voice resonating with a deep satisfaction. "Now, the real training begins." He turned, leading Aethelred towards a dimly lit archway at the far end of the chamber. "We must seek out Lyra. The fading stars still hold much to teach us, and time, Aethelred, is a luxury we no longer possess. The Whispering Shadow grows bolder with every breath we delay."
