…They imagined packing a basket of Tk’s favorite treats, finding the perfect blanket. It felt so close, so real. But then, the familiar whisper of doubt returned. What if Tk prefers something else? What if I mess it up? The shyness felt like a heavy cloak, making it hard to breathe, hard to act. Both Tk and Rhyme, in their own ways, were holding onto their secrets, their precious plans, their burgeoning feelings. The sparkly thread and the whispered promise of a waterfall, both waiting to be revealed, like two hesitant stars peeking out from behind a cloud. The universe, it seemed, was holding its breath, waiting for the moment when their secrets would finally collide.
