…Tiggy let out a soft sigh, a sigh of contentment and understanding. He was no longer scared of the quiet jungle. He was safe and warm, snuggled against his mama. He felt a deep sense of peace settle over him, like a soft blanket. His tummy had stopped rumbling. His eyelids were impossibly heavy. He closed his eyes, feeling the gentle rhythm of his mama’s breathing, the soft warmth of her fur. The last thing he heard was her soft purr, a lullaby in the twilight. And as he drifted off to sleep, Tiggy knew that Mama Tiger was right. Naps weren't so bad. In fact, they were just what a little tiger cub needed. He was finally, wonderfully, asleep.
