…“Very strong, my brave cub,” Mama Tiger purred, stroking his back with her paw. “And they help us dream of all the wonderful games we’ll play when we wake up.” Tiggy didn’t need any more convincing. He closed his eyes, feeling safe and loved and so, so sleepy. He could feel his mama’s warmth all around him, a cozy, striped blanket. The last thing he heard was his mama’s gentle purr, a lullaby that sang of strength and dreams and the joy of waking up ready for a new day. And as he drifted off to sleep, Tiggy knew, deep in his little tiger heart, that tigers didn't take naps because they were weak, but because naps made them strong enough for all the adventures that awaited them.
