Mama Tiger purred, a deep, rumbling sound that vibrated through Tiggy. “That’s alright, my little spark,” she whispered, curling her body around him. “You can rest here with me. You can dream of all the playing we’ll do when everyone wakes up.” Tiggy didn’t protest. He closed his eyes, feeling the warmth of his mama’s fur, the steady beat of her heart, and the gentle sway of her breathing. The jungle sounds faded into a soft murmur, and Tiggy, no longer lonely or scared, drifted off to sleep, a happy, contented tiger cub, ready for whatever adventures the rest of the day would bring.
