…Tiggy yawned, a wide, unforced yawn this time. He didn't fight it. He let his eyelids fall closed, the warmth of his mama’s fur and the gentle sway of her breathing lulling him into a deep, peaceful sleep. He dreamed of chasing butterflies through sun-drenched meadows, of roaring his fiercest roar, and of playing tag with all his friends. He was safe, he was loved, and for the first time, he understood. Tigers didn't take naps because they were sleepy; they took naps because they were ready for more adventures.
