…As the bell rang, signaling the end of the day, Hatem packed his books, a sense of quiet determination settling over him. The halls, once intimidating, now felt like a path he was slowly but surely mastering. The strictness was a guide, not a cage. He was learning, growing, and with each passing day, he felt a little more at home, a little more ready to face whatever came next. He walked out of the school, the two-minute walk home feeling less like a transition and more like a destination. The sun was beginning to dip below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and purple, a familiar, beautiful sight that promised another day, another chance to learn, to live, to be.
