…He was fifteen. He was a young man, on the cusp of adulthood, with a past that had shaped him in ways he was only beginning to understand. But in that moment, held in his mother’s arms, he felt a profound sense of peace. He had faced death and emerged into life. He had known hardship and found a new beginning. And he knew, with a certainty that settled deep within his soul, that his journey was far from over. The path ahead might be uncertain, but he would face it, as he always had, with courage, with determination, and with the unwavering love of his family as his guiding light. He was Hatem, and this was his life, still unfolding, still full of promise.
