…“What the hell?” Michael yelped, snatching his hand back. “Astrid, you said this place was secure!” “It was,” Astrid replied, her face a mask of shock. “This is… unexpected.” But Michael and Melissa were already in motion. Years of instinct, of honed reflexes, took over. The bickering ceased, replaced by a singular focus. They were thieves, and this was their score.
