We’re going to be the death of your boredom. And the cause of Interpol’s collective breakdown. Now, about that seismic activity…” The game, as Astrid had called it, was indeed on. And as the twins launched into a spirited debate about the tensile strength of reinforced concrete versus the destructive power of a well-placed sonic emitter, Astrid could only watch, a slow, almost imperceptible smile spreading across her face.
