…The girl who had once danced with butterflies now felt like a wilting bloom, her petals closed tight against the world. Depression, a heavy cloak, settled over her, muffling the vibrant colours of her soul. She felt lost, adrift in a sea of uncertainty, unsure of where to find her footing, or if she ever would again. The Whispering Woods, once a source of boundless joy, now seemed to whisper doubts, its rustling leaves sounding like mocking laughter. She feared she would never be truly happy, never truly successful, a wildflower that had been uprooted before it could truly bloom. The path ahead was shrouded in fog, and Symali, the spirited explorer, felt utterly, terrifyingly lost.
