…Her form began to dissipate, her words trailing off like smoke. “Remember… the sacrifice… the heart…” The seventh circle. Contemplation. Peace. The Weaver would try to lull me into a false sense of security, to offer me an end to the suffering. But I knew now that true peace could only be found by shattering the Wheel, not by succumbing to its illusions. I had faced the phantoms of my past and found a flicker of strength. Now, I had to face the quiet darkness within myself, and refuse the Weaver’s poisoned offer of respite. The fight was far from over. It was only just beginning.
