…The air around it had grown unnaturally cold, a stark contrast to the furnace of the desert, and a low hum, barely audible, vibrated through the very bones of the earth. This was no ordinary find. My name is Lycar, and I’ve faced my share of horrors. Raiders in the northern wastes, beasts from the shadowed forests, even the whispers of dark magic that clung to forgotten ruins. But this… this felt different. This felt like the heart of malice itself, cold and ancient and hungry. The carvings depicted scenes of unimaginable suffering – figures contorted in agony, their screams
